Introducing the brand new soft block bait from United Farmers. Country Soft Block Bait combines a unique, quickly accepted and highly palatable formulation with a mode of action that enables faster control of rodent infestations. The active substance in Country Soft Block Bait, new to the UK market, is neither persistent in the environment, nor bio-accumulative. Studies on birds (mallard and quail) have shown that compared to rats and mice, they are approximately 50-times less sensitive to cholecalciferol. Because of the different mode of action to anticoagulant rodenticides,there is no resistance in rats and mice to cholecalciferol and thelikelihood of adverse exposure to non-target animals via secondarypoisoning is considered to be limited.Country Soft Block Bait offers a superior alternative which balancesperformance and environmental impact. It is approved for the controlof brown rats, house mice and field mice. It must be well protected fromnon-target species and the use of tamper resistant bait stations isrecommended.

How to Use
With cholecalciferol baits we can employ what is known as the speed baiting technique. Due to the stop feeding effect the subdominant and non-dominant populations within the rodent colony gain much faster access to the bait when compared to other baits. Full control of an infestation is possible within seven days, depending on the size of the infestation and the speed at which rats overcome any neophobic response.

We offer a FREE Click and Collect service to all of our BATA Country Stores, South West Lancashire Farmers and Thompsons Town & Country Store. You can select this option at checkout. This service is FREE of charge and takes between 3-7 working days. Your selected store will contact you when your order is ready for collection. We also offer UK Standard delivery at £5.95 and UK Express delivery at £7.95, if you need your items that little bit sooner. Standard delivery will take 3-5 days, while Express will take 1-2 days. Note that for some orders, the postage cost may increase once an order has been placed, this is due to added surcharges, the size or weight of the item(s). Order Cut-Off time for Express delivery is 14:00. Please note, the above service excludes fuel products, with delivery of Web Orders on Oils & Additives taking between 3-10 days. Furthermore, please be aware that our timber products and some larger agricultural products are excluded from delivery, with these being Click & Collect Only products.
